Ever tried to buy a birthday card for a guy?  Ever ended up just getting a generic card with a dog in a birthday hat on it because the others were either mean or stupid?

At one point, one brother was seeking a job.  After his interviews, he wanted to send a thank you note, but became frustrated with the choices.  Perhaps the stores in his area didn’t feature something masculine enough.  (He is now happily employed and still wants to send thank-you notes.)

For the other brother, I wanted to get him a nice card for his birthday.  Looking over the selection of cards in three different stores, I wondered.  There was the obligatory golf card.  Sure, my brother plays golf and could receive the golf-oriented cards, but he’s also a young man.  The way this card was designed, in particular, felt older.  Other cards didn’t suit.  He doesn’t hunt; He doesn’t hang out in bars.  Is that all that is available in Cards For Him?
